Published: 28-Sep-2009
China's Tianwan nuclear power plant, which is built under the supervision of Atomstroyexport CJSC, has produced 10 billion kWh from the beginning of 2009. Since the launch of its first two units, Tianwan nuclear power plant has produced over 30 billion kWh. In September 2009 Atomstroyexport CJSC and Jiangsu Nuclear Power Corporation (JNPC) signed a protocol on final acceptance of the 2nd unit of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant and completion of its two-year guarantee maintenance.
The protocol was signed by first vice president of Atomstroyexport Alexander Nechayev and the Director General of JNPC.
The protocol on the completion of the guarantee maintenance of the 1st unit was signed in June 2009.
The guarantee maintenance has proved the efficiency and safety of Tianwan nuclear power plant. Both reactors are operating stably at a capacity of 1,060 MW and are showing high efficiency. Since its launch, the plant has generated over 30 billion kWh.
